How to watch the Nintendo Direct live stream of February 2021

If you like games, you’ll want to know that Nintendo is hosting a 50-minute live broadcast today, which it calls Nintendo Direct, and that the company will focus on games that will come to the Switch in 2021. This is the first time The company has hosted a full Nintendo Direct live stream since September 2019.

Nintendo already confirmed on twitter that would be announcing information about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but offered no hint, although there’s a good chance we’ll hear about a new character for the game’s second Fighter Pass. Outside of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the live broadcast will focus on the games that will arrive on the Nintendo Switch “in the first half of 2021”, leaving fans to speculate what could be shown during the presentation.

When does Nintendo Direct start?

The live broadcast starts today, February 17, at 2:00 pm PT / 5:00 pm ET / 10:00 pm GMT.

Where can I watch Nintendo Direct?

We’ve incorporated the live stream at the top of this post, so you can stay here to watch it when you start. Otherwise, today’s Nintendo Direct will be available on Nintendo’s official website, Twitch and YouTube.

Of course, if you miss the stream, you can find coverage of all Nintendo news here at The Verge.
