Community day tips and tricks
- Pokémon you didn’t catch before the event started could turn into Fletchling, which means it’s best to get to your location early and wait to catch until the event starts.
- Be patient – there will always be errors and bugs at the start of the event. It is best to restart the application in most, if not all, cases.
- Remember that PokéStops offer missions that are very beneficial on Community Day, offering rewards for Stardust, Great and Ultra Balls and Pinap Berries, all of which can help you if your stocks are low.
- Although a Community Day Box has become the norm, it is often not worth it compared to current or previous sales. If that’s what you need, go ahead, but usually the deal can be arranged elsewhere.
- To ensure that you have bait for the entire duration, do not set up your bait before the event starts, as they only last 30 minutes. The attraction must rise after the start of the event to last three hours. Not to mention it will block the increased CD spawns until they run out.
- Use incense to attract even more Pokémon to you while hunting. If you’re wondering, yes, Incense can spawn Community Day monsters, which can be brilliant. There is no reason why you should avoid incense, if you have it.
- Talk to your fellow Trainers and grow your local Pokémon Go community. Make good use of the QR code feature to make new friends!
- Promote new Pokémon Go features and events to coaches who are just starting their adventure or haven’t played in a while. People are coming back due to the trade, new Pokémon, PvP, the various events and these community-based events.
- And most importantly, have fun, get some sparkles and hope that there are no flaws in the game!

- Lucky Eggs for when you’re catching, making attacks during the day, and just helping with general leveling.
