The next Pokémon Go Community Day is scheduled for March 6, developer Niantic announced. The Pokémon featured in this event will be Fletchling, and there will be a new Special Research story and several other game bonuses.
During March Community Day, Fletchling will appear in the jungle much more often than usual, giving you more chances to catch him and stock up on Fletchling Candies. You will also have your first chance to catch a Shiny Fletchling during the event.
As usual, you can also get an exclusive movement for a special event during March Community Day. If you can evolve Fletchinder – the evolved form of Fletchling – into Talonflame within two hours of the end of the event, it will automatically recognize the Fire Incinerate attack.
In addition, Niantic will offer another story of special paid research during Community Day in March. This is called The Bravest Bird, and tickets to access it will cost $ 1. A special Community Day item pack will also be on sale at the Pokémon Go item store during the event. The package will cost 1,280 PokeCoins and will include the following:
50 Ultra Balls
5 lucky eggs
1 Poffin
1 Elite Fast TM
Finally, some in-game bonuses will be active during March Community Day. First, you will receive three times the normal amount of XP to capture Pokémon. As usual, any incense you use during the event will also remain active for three hours, instead of the usual 60 minutes.

In the meantime, the Pokémon Go Valentine’s Day event runs through February 18 and introduces the game to Gen 5 Pokémon Munna and Musharna. Latios and Latias are also back on five-star Raids until February 20th. This is also the date on which Niantic will hold its great Pokémon Go Tour: the Kanto event.
