The latest update to Destiny 2 brought some important changes to the game, and that includes a new in-game currency called Cabal Gold. It’s very rare, so see how you can win it in season 13.
Destiny 2’s new Season of the Chosen expansion is finally here and should continue until May 11, 2021. The last season brought a plethora of new content to the game, such as strikes, weapons, suppliers and more.
To unlock some of the new cool features, you’ll need to collect the new in-game currency known as Cabal Gold. This is incredibly rare and hard to find, but there are a few ways you can get it yourself.
How to get Cabal Gold in Destiny 2
Cabal Gold can be used to unlock a new item called Hammer of Proving, which will allow you to open chests at the end of the battlefield matches, earn Umbral Engrams and receive new updates.
The best way to get Cabal Gold is to complete certain activities in Destiny 2, including Crucible, Gambit, Public events, Playlist Strikes, Nightmare Hunts and The Blind Well. The better you play, the greater your chances of getting that payout.
Another method is to play Dungeons and Raids, but they are facing a bug that prevents players from receiving the coin. For this reason, we recommend that you continue with the other activities for now.
If you want to improve the Trial Hammer, you need to earn a total of 84 gold coins from Cabal and bring it to HELM, which is the central base of operations during this season. You can learn how to unlock and improve the Hammer in our guide.
It is important to keep in mind that even completing the game activities successfully does not guarantee that you will receive Cabal Gold pieces. They are difficult to obtain, unless you are very lucky while playing.
