The Yankees and left-handed appeaser Justin Wilson agreed to a deal, sources said to Andy Martino of SNY.
Martino also notes that the deal is worth about $ 4 million this year.
Robert Murray of FanSided reported Sunday morning that Wilson, 33, was in “serious talks” with the Yankees.
As a member of the Mets bullpen for the past two seasons, Wilson made 6-3 with an ERA of 2.91 and four saves in 68 games.
Wilson allowed 22 runs (19 wins) in 51 hits (five home runs) with 67 eliminations for 28 walks (plus two intentional) in 58 2/3 throws.
Previously with the Yankees in 2015, Wilson was 5-0 with an ERA of 3.10 in 74 regular season games. Wilson won 21 runs (all won) in 49 hits (three home runs) while eliminating 66 and walking 20 to 61 frames.
Wilson’s nine-year MLB career included a trio of other charts – with the Pittsburgh Pirates (2012-14), Detroit Tigers (2016-17) and Chicago Cubs (2017-18).
