Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be interviewed by Oprah Winfrey on CBS, the network announced on Monday.
The special, entitled “Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special”, will air on Sunday, March 7th. The interview will also be the couple’s first meeting since the engagement.
“Oprah Winfrey while sitting with Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, for an intimate conversation for an exclusive primetime special,” the press release said.
“Winfrey will speak with Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from entering life as royalty, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure,” he continues.

“Later, the two join Prince Harry as they talk about their move to the United States and their hopes and future dreams for their expanding family.”

The primetime special comes a day after the royal couple announced they are expecting their second child.
“We can confirm that Archie will be an older brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very happy to be expecting their second child,” a spokesman for the couple told Fox News on Sunday. The pair welcomed their son, Archie Harrison, in May 2019.

The Emmy winner attended the wedding in May 2018. Harry, 36, is currently working on a series of papers with the legendary daytime presenter and businesswoman for Apple TV +.
Winfrey also lives in the same neighborhood as Markle, 39, and Harry, in Southern California, the area they moved to in the summer of 2020, after becoming older members of the royal family in March.
