But it’s not always that Katy immediately recognizes an auditioner as the daughter of two important political figures, as she did tonight when Claudia Conway tested for the ABC reality show.
Claudia is the daughter of 16 Kellyanne Conway, who served as a senior advisor to the former president Donald Trump, and George Conway, a lawyer who worked against Trump, as Claudia explained during her hearing.
In an introductory video, she introduced herself as a “15-year-old emancipation girl” and explained that she hated living with her parents in Washington DC.
“When your mother is working for the President of the United States, with whom you disagree, it is very difficult,” she said.
While George accompanied Claudia on the test, Kellyanne was present on a giant video screen while Claudia expressed her nerves.
“You should be nervous, dear,” said Kellyanne. “It is a very humbling experience.”
