The Phoenix Suns will not face one of the biggest stars of the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night.

Striker Kevin Durant will miss the game due to a slight hamstring strain, the Nets announced on Sunday. Durant is expected to stay away for at least two games while receiving treatment.

The Nets play against Sacramento Kings on Monday before facing the Suns.

In the season, Durant averages 29 points per game, 7.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists.

The striker recently returned to the court on Saturday after losing three games due to the COVID-19 protocol. He played 33 minutes and scored 20 points in the victory over the Golden State Warriors.

Throughout the season, Durant lost nine of the team’s 28 games. He missed the entire 2019-20 season due to an Achilles tendon injury.
