Feinstein’s pass rating drops to historic low in new poll

Feinstein has never been a favorite among the most liberal members of her party, who consider her to be moderate or even conservative in some matters. In the Berkeley IGS poll, 45% of voters – including 41% of Democrats – say Feinstein is less effective today than in the past, while only 4% say she is more effective now and 22% say there has been no change.

It was speculated whether Feinstein would complete her six-year term in the Senate, which runs until 2024, or whether she would retire before that. After the left’s outrage following his unstable guidance from Amy Coney Barrett’s Supreme Court confirmation hearings and a final hug to Republican Committee President Lindsey Graham, R-South Carolina, Feinstein announced that he would step down as a Democrat on the Judiciary Committee .

On the other hand, Alex Padilla, recently appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom to serve the remainder of Vice President Harris’s Senate term, had general approval in the IGS Berkeley poll, which found that 47% of voters liked the nomination. This includes 68% of registered Democrats.

Harris, now an important part of the Biden government, is the highest-ranking state authority in the poll with 56% approval, compared with 38% who considered it unfavorable.
