COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State coach Ryan Day is back in the past to strengthen the experience of his technical team in the present.
The state of Ohio added former Boston College and Vanderbilt offensive coordinator Todd Fitch as an offensive analyst. Fitch and Day worked together at Boston College in 2013-14, when Day was offensive coordinator and quarterback coach and Fitch was wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator.
Both Fitch and defensive analyst Paul Rhoads are listed as quality control coaches in the Ohio state employee directory.
Fitch spent 2020 as Vanderbilt’s offensive coordinator and quarterback coach and served as interim head coach after Derek Mason’s resignation.
Fitch previously served as offensive coordinator at Louisiana Tech, South Florida, East Carolina and Connecticut, among other stops.
