Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes underwent toe surgery on Wednesday and there was no problem, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
Dr. Robert Anderson performed the surgery.
Mahomes had problems with the peat toe during much of the Chiefs’ post-season race. After his team’s defeat at the Super Bowl LV, former AP NFL Most Valuable Player went under the knife to fix a torn plantar plate on his toe – commonly known as the aforementioned turf toe.
Mahomes is now ready for rehabilitation, which will likely take several months, but he is expected to fully recover, Rapoport previously reported.
Despite the injury, Mahomes did not appear to have been harmed by her, even in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, since most of Mahomes’ most impressive moves were endless disputes to escape incompleteness.
Now, however, Mahomes is officially recovering, but on Wednesday everything went well.
