These are the pharmacies that administer COVID-19 vaccines as part of the federal plan

Walmart, Rite Aid and Costco are some of the participating companies.

Major pharmacies are launching plans this week to prepare for the additional doses of a million vaccines that were promised by the White House.

So far, more than 32 million Americans have received at least one dose – 10% of the country’s population. Over the weekend, more than 4 million vaccines were administered, an increase from previous days, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The one million doses are being delivered to more than 6,500 locations as part of the Federal Retail Policy program.

Walgreens told ABC News that they will start accepting appointments on Tuesday and vaccinations in stores will start as early as Friday, prioritizing healthcare professionals, people 65 years of age or older and people with pre-existing illnesses.

CVS said it would start accepting consultations on Thursday, with vaccines being administered as early as Friday.
