2021 Naismith Player of the Year mid-season team announced

The Naismith Trophy announced its mid-season team for the 2021 Player of the Year award.

Sabrina Ionescu, from Oregon, won the 2020 award.

The list includes 30 players from 7 different conferences.

NAISMITH HONORS: 2021 mid-season team for defensive player of the year

Kentucky’s Rhyne Howard returns to the 2021 list after becoming a finalist in 2020.

The list will be narrowed down to 10 semifinalists on March 2 before being reduced to four finalists again on March 19.

2021 Women’s College Jersey’s Player of the Year Award winner Mike’s Naismith will be announced on April 3, the day before the NCAA championship game.
