Riverside County has again reduced the minimum age for obtaining a coronavirus vaccine appointment at one of its clinics, this time from 75 to 65.
As of Monday, February 8, residents aged 65 and over can make an appointment – 10,000 places were available early Monday afternoon – at a county-run clinic. The locations include Perris, Menifee, Corona, Hemet, Beaumont and Indio.
Online bookings can be made by visiting www.rivcoph.org/COVID-19-Vaccine-with-Registration. Those who speak Spanish or have trouble connecting can call 211 or 951-329-4703.
The county’s online registration link redirects users to a state registration portal. Appointments may not be available when someone completes all the registration steps on the portal.
It is necessary to make an appointment and prove the age to be vaccinated.
