The shooting took place on Friday night, when a group of four were upset at being asked to leave the downtown Charleston bar at closing time and were not allowed to enter, according to a police incident report obtained. by means of communication.
Police said the group started arguing with security guards and a 28-year-old barman went to help his co-workers when one of the suspects drew a gun and shot the employee.
The worker suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to hospital, officials said.
Police said on Friday that the sniper had escaped the scene and was not in custody. The authorities do not believe that there is any threat to the public.
