The 7 best 2021 Super Bowl commercials

The 55th Super Bowl is coming, and with it comes a myriad of creative, hilarious and occasionally bizarre TV commercials. A single 30-second TV commercial during the Super Bowl can cost up to $ 5.6 million, and it’s no wonder why: a captive audience of sports fans who deserve a snack equals maximum viewing.

The 2021 Super Bowl looks significantly different from previous years, with masks mandatory and a limited number of people present, but at least the ads were as plentiful as ever. Below is a list of the 7 best Super Bowl LV commercials:

1. Budweiser COVID-19 vaccination donation.

Okay, it’s not technically a traditional ad, but it’s powerful; this year, Budweiser decided not to participate in the Super Bowl advertising race and instead donated the money the company would have spent to raise awareness of the COVID-19 vaccination. Coca and Pepsi did the same, and we are better off with it.

2. Will Ferrell for GM.

Did Ferrell, Kenan Thompson, Awkwafina and a little fun mock Norway for no particular reason? We’re on board.

3. Drake for State Farm.

“Substitutes have no lines,” Drake is asked to understand in this ad. Why is it so funny to see him on a State Farm exclusive red polo shirt?

4. Lil Nas X for Logitech.

Nothing will beat Lil Nas X’s “Cool Ranch” commercial from last year, but this Logitech ad – in which he wears a truly stunning pink pajama set – comes in second.

5. Dan Levy for M & Ms.

Fresh from an excellent Saturday Night Live Presenting a show, Dan Levy brings his irrepressible charm to a TV commercial that revolves around the power of excuses.

Bass Pro Shops for … out?

“In these difficult times, we need nature more than ever. We need nature to remind us that, like the sunrise or the turn of the tides, these challenges will pass “, this ad reminds us of the much needed panoramas of large open spaces.

Maya Rudolph for Klarna.

The only thing better than a Maya Rudolph is four Maya Rudolphs, and that’s exactly what we received in this eclectic ad (on horseback, no less!)
