SypherPK reveals its Fortnite Season 6 wish list

From weapon accessories to new mobility options, SypherPK has quite a shopping list.

With just over a month of the current season, people are starting to wonder what’s next for Fortnite. During Chapter 2, it became a tradition for Ali “SypherPK” Hassan to create a wish list of the changes he would like to see.

In a recent video titled “What Epic NEEDS To Do in Fortnite Season 6…”, the Twitch and YouTube star described the pros and cons of Season 5 and offered some interesting suggestions for the future.

Sypher started with the positives, praising the developers for consistent content updates, new mechanics like the sand tunnel and the new monetary system. He also added that after a few minor adjustments, he feels that this is “the most balanced goal shotgun we’ve ever seen”.

So, what does Sypher want from season 6? We’ll see the main points, but it’s definitely worth checking out the video for a complete perspective.

Map changes

Early in Season 5, Fortnite fans were delighted to see Tilted Towers being brought back to life when some of its most popular buildings descended on Salty Springs. The center of the island has also undergone a significant overhaul, with Point Zero appearing in the sky above a large sandy desert.

Since then, it hasn’t happened much beyond the arrival of Kit’s Cantina in patch v15.30. Sypher reflected on the revolutionary arrival of Stark Industries’ POI in the middle of season 4, proposing a return to major changes to the map in the middle of the season.

Based on this point, he then addressed the mobility of the map. This refers to things like the Chapter 1 Volcano, geysers and drafts. “We have the sand tunnel and the crystals, but that is already in the middle of the map,” explained the streamer, recommending an increase in the potential for movement towards the edges.

Loot Pool

While Sypher may be enjoying Shotgun’s current target, the same cannot be said for assault rifles. “AK47 (Heavy AR) is so horrible in my opinion,” he admitted, a sentiment that was echoed by many professionals and casual players.

He would be happy to see the Burst AR or Infantry Rifle without digging, but he is more than ready for something new. However, this next topic may help with the problem. Weapon accessories.

First released in December, it seems increasingly likely that modifications to weapons and vehicles will arrive in Fortnite. Sypher is in favor and believes it would be a fantastic way to spice things up.

Currency System

Season 5 introduced “Bars” as an in-game currency system. Although the addition of these gold bars has certainly added a new dimension to Battle Royale mode, Sypher believes that they need a complete rework.

He mentioned the idea that, instead of bars being transported between games, players could possibly be able to mine gold in a similar way to other materials.

He also wants more options in terms of what you can buy with him. “I think there could be an option to restart or revive people using gold … maybe you could buy a Launch Pad, maybe you could buy a self-revive or something,” pondered PK.

There is no doubt that Epic is already deeply in the development of season 6, but we will have to wait until it is released to see if any of Sypher’s suggestions will pass. Tell us what you expect on Twitter @FortniteTracker.
