Ubisoft publisher and developers Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai have late Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake from the previously announced release date in March to an unannounced date. It will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store, Uplay).
This is the second delay for the remake. The launch was initially planned for January 21, before being postponed to March 18.
Here is a message from the developers about the delay:
Hello Prince of Persia fans!
Since the announcement Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake in September, we saw many comments from you about this beloved franchise. It is your passion and support that is driving our development teams to make the best game possible. With that said, we made the decision to change the release to Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake for a later date. This extra development time will allow our teams to deliver a remake that looks new, while remaining true to the original.
We understand that the update may come as a surprise and will continue to keep you informed of the progress of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. In the meantime, we would like to thank you for your continued support.
—The Development Team
