Former NFL quarterback Doug Flutie won and lost the WWE 24/7 Championship on Saturday of the Super Bowl weekend.

During an interview at Saturday’s Celebrity Sweat Flag Football Challenge, Flutie rolled R-Truth to win the title 24/7. R-Truth then rolled up Flutie to win the title back.

The celebrity football game aired live on ESPNews and also featured the involvement of Titus O’Neil, The Miz and Cesaro from WWE.

Flutie was a Boston College quarterback star in the 1980s and played in the USFL, CFL and NFL before retiring in 2006.

This is R-Truth’s 49th reign as a 24/7 champion. After losing the title to radio personality and WWE pre-show speaker Peter Rosenberg at Sunday’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view, there was an angle shot where R-Truth sneaked into Rosenberg’s hotel room with a referee and won the title back while Rosenberg was live on air co-hosting The Michael Kay Show this Monday.
