Although the artist seemed unconcerned at the airport, she currently faces controversy over the composition of her latest single, entitled Up.

A video clip was also posted on the composer’s official YouTube account the day before its official release on Friday.

Shortly after Up’s debut, New Jersey rappers Mir Pesos and Mir Fontaine called Cardi on Twitter and claimed that she had stolen the track Stuck, released last September.

Mir Pesos also posted a video side by side of the two songs in an attempt to show the similarities in the musical form they shared.

The composer later logged on to Twitter to explain her feelings about the situation and responded to a fan who was concerned about Up’s originality.

‘If I get inspired by a song, I wouldn’t mind giving a percentage or a few thousand, but I would never hurd if this man. I am happy while recording this song in August, I was playing with the chorus on this show, she wrote partially.
