TI and Tiny’s VH1 series suspends production amid allegations of sexual abuse

Rapper-actor Tip “TI” Harris and his wife, Xscape singer Tameka “Tiny” Harris, were recently accused of sexually abusing several women by former associate Sabrina Peterson.

As a result, VH1 has temporarily suspended the production of its reality show, “TI & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.”

“We are aware of the allegations and, although they are not connected to our program, we have contacted TI and Tameka Harris, as well as local and state officials,” an MTV Entertainment spokesman said in a statement to Deadline. “Given the seriousness of the complaints, we decided to suspend production for more information.”

The couple faces a range of sexual abuse charges, including trafficking, drugs and coercion of women. They have since denied Peterson’s allegations, releasing their own statement to the Complex.

“Sir. And Mrs. Harris wish to be included and, most importantly, to let the public know that they emphatically deny in the most vehement way possible the blatantly terrible accusations made against them by Sabrina Peterson.

“The Harris had a hard time with this woman for more than a decade. They are taking this matter very seriously. “
