A five-month-old baby in Russia was crushed to death when a man jumped out of a building in an apparent suicide attempt – and fell into the baby carriage, according to a report on Friday.
The accident occurred on Thursday, when the man fell from the 17th floor of a building in Voronezh while the mother pushed her baby down, according to the video of the incident posted by Scottish Sun.
Disturbing images from the surveillance camera show the hopper partially landing in the stroller, hitting the baby and throwing him into the street.
The mother, who was not identified, then frantically checked on her son while passersby asked for help – while the sweater looked lifeless on the sidewalk, according to the outlet.
Paramedics rushed to revive the baby, but he would have died on the spot.
“The 5-month-old baby, who was in the stroller, died in the ambulance,” said a police source, according to the agency.
The policeman added that “the man who fell on the [stroller] died, ”too.
