Chiefs ‘Tyreek Hill offers a scary assessment of Patrick Mahomes’ pre-Super Bowl LV performance

Tyreek Hill’s assessment of Patrick Mahomes in practice could serve as a warning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to play in the Super Bowl LV.

Hill on Thursday expressed his enthusiasm for playing Mahomes in practice.

“I haven’t seen Pat play points like this before in practice. I mean, he’s playing points. It’s crazy,” Hill told reporters via NFL.com.

The points are described as accurate passes thrown to recipients in tight windows and it looked like the fourth-year quarterback in his second consecutive Super Bowl is in the money when it comes to making these types of moves.

Mahomes had been battling a finger problem since the team’s victory over the Cleveland Browns in the divisional round. The quarterback also suffered a head injury during the game, but he was listed on the team’s injury report with a toe.

The defender has participated fully in training this week and should be fine to face the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Mahomes and Hill had an excellent game against Tampa Bay earlier in the season.

In his Week 12 fight, Mahomes finished 37-to-49 with 462 yards and three touchdown passes. Each of his touchdown passes went to Hill. The wide receiver had 13 receptions for 269 yards along with the touchdowns.

One of the scores was a 75-yard pass in the first quarter. Kansas City got a 17 point lead at the start.
