South Carolina increased its 2021 autograph class on Wednesday morning, when the state’s defensive striker TJ Sanders (Marion / Marion) signed his letter of intent. Sanders had been committed to Gamecocks since July 4, 2020 and could have signed in December, but chose to wait until the February signing period to make it official with his home state school.
Sanders is considered the eighth best candidate in the state, according to the 247Sports Composite ranking. The defensive tackle of 6 feet and 5 and 275 pounds is classified as the 667th candidate in the country.
