WarnerBros ‘The Little Things’ attracts 1.4 million views on HBO Max

HBO Max had its first WarnerBros launch in 2021 on January 29 with The little things. The police thriller debuted on the streaming service after its theatrical release, according to the studio’s 2021 plan.

Data from SambaTV shows that the film had 1.4 million views in its opening weekend, with the highest number of views on Saturday, with 678,000 American families tuning in to broadcast Denzel Washington’s film. Sunday saw 525,000 views from more families.

The little things grossed $ 4.8 million at the box office, according to The Numbers.com.

The film’s performance is nothing compared to the success of HBO Max’s first WB debut. Wonder Woman 1984 hit theaters on December 25 with 2.2 million households broadcasting on HBO Max on its opening weekend. The last installment of the DC franchise had 986,000 streams on Christmas Day alone, according to Samba TV.

The list of upcoming WB films scheduled for a dual streaming / theater release includes Judas and the Black Messiah, Tom and Jerry, Godzilla vs. Kong, Mortal Kombat, Those who wish me death, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, In the Heights, Space Jam: A New Legacy, The Suicide Squad, Reminiscence, Malignant, Dune, The Many Saints of Newark, King Richard, Male Cry and Matrix 4.
