The first two episodes of the WandaVision premiere on January 15th.
Disney
WandaVision, one of Marvel’s strangest shows, debuted two episodes at Disney Plus on January 15th. The program is operating similarly to the The Mandalorian taking the place relax-at-the-weekend.
After the initial downfall of two episodes, Disney took on a more organized schedule, releasing one episode a week. That means we’ll have all nine episodes of the first MCU Phase Four series in the first week of March (don’t worry, there will be more Marvel content soon in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, opening fifteen days later).
Here is the full release schedule for WandaVision:
- Episode 1: Available now
- Episode two: Available now
- Episode 3: Available now
- Episode 4: Available now
- Episode 5: Available February 5th at midnight PT / 3h ET / 8h GMT
- Episode 6: Available from 12 February at midnight PT / 3am ET / 8am GMT
- Episode 7: Available February 19 at midnight PT / 3am ET / 8am GMT
- Episode 8: Available February 26 at midnight PT / 3am ET / 8am GMT
- Episode 9: Available March 5th – midnight PT / 3h ET / 8h GMT
In addition to the first two episodes, Disney also launched a story feature that gave us a glimpse behind the scenes and some hints of what’s to come.
Set after Avengers: Endgame, WandaVision follows Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch, and Vision, living their best lives in suburbs influenced by 1950s sitcoms. But – spoiler – didn’t Vision die in Avengers: Infinity War? Unsurprisingly, not everything is as it seems, with all the teasers apparently pointing to Wanda using his powers to build a reality to deal with his pain.
Episodes 1, 2 and 3 are half an hour long, emulating the format of a sitcom. But once the series unravels that construction, the duration of the episodes “will begin to vary more, yes,” Marvel boss Kevin Feige told TVLine.
Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Teyonah Parris, Katheryn Hahn, Randall Park and Kat Dennings star.
