A former tight end from Auburn is expected to join the team on a major SEC program.
Robert Muschamp, nephew of former South Carolina and Florida coach Will Muschamp, is expected to be hired in Georgia as a support team, a source told AL.com.
The Roma, Georgia native played at Auburn from 2015 to 18, earning a scholarship as a veteran after joining the program as an assistant. He then started working as a coach after finishing his time at Auburn and was a graduate assistant on Jeremy Pruitt’s team in Tennessee for the past two seasons.
