The Weeknd rents a $ 9 million cap for the Super Bowl

Weeknd is in style in Tampa this week, as it prepares for the Super Bowl 2021 break show on Sunday.

We heard the “Blinding Lights” singer spend $ 100,000 to stay in a $ 9.1 million six-bedroom mansion on nearby Davis Island. The 6,000-square-foot extension features a pool, bay views and a private dock.

While Super Bowl producers cover all the normal costs of producing the show, the 30-year-old singer – whose real name is Abel Tesfaye – is injecting a lot of money to make sure everything is done his way.

“Abel spent almost $ 7 million of his own money in addition to the already generous budgets to make this halftime show what he imagined,” his publicist told the Post.

On Monday, the singer joined Postmates to feed AdventHealth Carrollwood health workers with food from black-owned Mama’s Southern Soul Food in Tampa.
