Lil Durk’s music video for “Kanye Krazy” gets a lot of praise from Lil Wayne, who says his “Famous” recreation is the “most difficult scene of all time”. Lil Wayne doesn’t pay much attention around him. He is admittedly not very attuned to the latest generation of rappers, repeating this on several occasions. Of the new crop of talent taking over, Tunechi is the one who likes Lil Baby the most, calling the honcho 4PF his favorite artist. It seems that Wayne’s playlist features another artist who has been making some crazy noise in recent years, Chicago veteran Lil Durk, who impressed the legend with his video “Kanye Krazy”. Directed by Cole Bennett, “Kanye Krazy” features Lil Durk recreating some of Kanye West’s most iconic moments of all time. The rapper grabs the microphone of a Taylor Swift lookalike, gets on his motorcycle for a remake of “Bound 2”, opens the curtains, recruits some ballerinas for a tribute to “Runaway” and more. But it is one scene in particular that left Weezy jaw-dropping. “The most difficult scene ever,” said Lil Wayne of the final scene in Durkio’s video, a recreation of Kanye’s “Famous” video. However, instead of sleeping in a bed with Caitlyn Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Donald Trump and others, Durk lies down with a bunch of villains. Lil Wayne thinking that you came up with the “hardest picture ever” is not only a compliment to Lil Durk, but also a great achievement for Cole Bennett, who continues to assert his dominance in hip-hop videography. Also, does Wayne know that Kanye did this first? I suppose it doesn’t matter, in this case. Would you be open to hearing future collaborations between Lil Wayne and Lil Durk?
