The relaunch for the current platforms will feature a rate of 60 frames per second, improved load times and all previously downloaded downloadable content.

Here’s an overview of the game, via Sega:

Judgment takes advantage of new hardware with refined visuals at 60 frames per second, along with improved load times and includes all downloadable content previously released on these three platforms.

Praised as “the best police drama that didn’t appear on TV” by the Hollywood Reporter, Judgment was originally released for PlayStation 4 in 2019. The remastered Judgment marks the debut of the brave tale on Xbox and Stadia.

Judgment is an action thriller that puts players in the shoes of Takayuki Yagami, a wretched lawyer who has become a rude private investigator, as he uncovers the mystery behind a series of horrific murders. Together with his partner, ex-Yazuka Masaharu Kaito, Yagami must work his way through Kamurocho’s criminal underworld to uncover the truth – however painful it may be.

In addition to the location, Judgment assumes the classic characteristics of the Yakuza series through Yagami’s eyes. Fans will recognize violent street fights, engaging side missions with locals and comedy breaks with mini-games. Judgment raises the bar with an emphasis on investigative gameplay by tracking suspects and discovering clues as Yagami walks the fine line of justice in a world of corruption. Packed with an exciting story, cinematic combat and a cast of intense characters, Judgment will keep all aspiring private investigators on the alert.
