2nd round! Jake and Rob fight the bugs and flaws of Cyberpunk 2077 while trying to play on a base Xbox One without updates – full version 1.0!
As you probably already know, the CD Projekt Red RPG had an infamous release. Over time it has been fixed and updated, but we are ignoring all of this to get back to the vanilla experience and show how this game was released on the first day.
To do this, Jake and Rob declined updates to the Xbox One disc version of Cyberpunk 2077 so they can live on the edge. What you will witness in this video are immersion-destroying bugs, game stuttering and loading, texture pop-ins and unresponsive AI. Just saying … it’s not pretty. It’s fun and funny, but it’s not pretty.
What is also worth noting is that this is a series in which Jake and Rob act based on the premise of encouraging “The Worst Way To Play”. This means that they are also playing the worst character possible, so expect unpleasant and rude dialogue choices, as well as completely unnecessary physical altercations.
And that’s what Episode 2 of The Worst Way to Play Cyberpunk 2077 has in store for you, so sit back and watch as our duo struggles to give you 12 minutes of fun and mischief. If you would like to see more about this challenge, let us know in the comments below. And if you have specific ideas on how to do the experiment further miserable, let us know that too. Thanks for watching.
