Covid-19 vaccine update: up to 600 daily open appointments at the NY State Fair

Geddes, NY – Hundreds of Covid-19 appointments remained available during the days of March and April at the New York State Fairgrounds, according to the state’s website that was last updated at 8 am today.

Two other locations also had commitments: SUNY Potsdam and Plattsburgh International Airport.

To obtain a state consultation, go to the state’s “I am eligible” website, call 833-697-4829 to try to make an appointment.

Am i senior? Can I buy one at Kinney Drugs?

You can, if you are 65 or older, make an appointment. Kinney Drugs is administering the vaccine at 75 stores in New York. Each store receives about 100 photos per week. The pharmacy chain is making these consultations available as dosages arrive. You can sign up to receive an alert from Kinney’s to find out when the vaccine is in a store near you. After receiving this alert, you need to connect quickly to make an appointment.

If you made an appointment through the “I am eligible” website, you will receive a confirmation email. This will have a cancellation link or a phone number to call: 1-833-697-4829.

The first 90 vaccines will be administered to this waiting list for seniors only on Monday. These 90 people will be selected in the lottery style. Expect to receive the email notification by 10am today (Sunday).
