Tony DeAngelo asked for exemptions from the Rangers

The New York Rangers put Right wing defender Tony DeAngelo about resignations in a shocking but not-so-surprising move on Sunday.

DeAngelo, 25, received votes for the Norris Trophy last season, after adding 53 points (15g, 38a) in 68 games last season. He currently signed a $ 9.6 million two-year contract.

DeAngelo has struggled to re-insideabandonmentionist his form from last year with just one point, an assist, in six games. DeAngelo was also scratched several games.

There were also rumors (see this topic) that DeAngelo was involved in an altercation with goalkeeper Alexander Georgiev after last night’s game, in which he was on the ice for four of the Penguins’ five goals. In overtime, Georgiev did not throw the puck to DeAngelo behind the net, instead choosing to clear the board himself, leading to game winner Sidney Crosby. Atlético later confirmed the story, saying the two got into a fight in the tunnel that quickly broke.

None of the players took the ice for Sunday practice. Rangers head coach David Quinn was asked whether the incident had anything to do with the fact that the Rangers placed DeAngelo under exemption.

Atlético also reported that DeAngelo has been scolded several times by the team for his posts on social media.

Hockey Twitter, with whom DeAngelo has been arguing for much of the season, responded to the news with lol’s, smiley emoji and smiley GIFs.

DeAngelo was a longtime supporter of Donald Trump, deactivating his Twitter account in protest and promising to go to Parler after the platform banned the former president due to lies and incitement to violence.

The defender later appeared back on the social media site with a recording account like @ NYRFan92360244. It looks like a hockey fan tricked DeAngelo into admitting it was him with a screenshot of the simple source code.

DeAngelo, er, I mean @ NYRFan92360244, tweeted “This is a culture of cancellation in full force” minutes after receiving the exemption.

Yes, that’s definitely it and you wouldn’t face any consequences in real life because you weren’t good at hockey and it became a headache almost every minute of the day.
