Vaccination schedules opened unexpectedly on Friday, January 29, for appointments at the Ontario Convention Center on Thursday and Friday, February 4 and 5.
While they last, bookings can be made between 10am and 6pm on both days at https://sbcovid19.com/vaccine.
Each day, 200 consultations will be available.
The convention center is scheduled to open Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 6 pm, officials said.
Then the race will take place at 9:00 am on Monday, February 1, to schedule one of 3,500 coronavirus vaccination appointments at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, the first vaccine super site in the county of San Bernardino.
County officials encourage people to make reservations online at sbcovid19.com/vaccine.
Those who need help making an appointment can contact the county COVID-19 hotline starting at 9am on Monday at 909-387-3911.
Eligible for the vaccine include county residents over 65 and health professionals and emergency services professionals who live or work in the county.
Residents who receive an initial dose on Tuesday, February 2, at the Auto Club Speedway event, can immediately schedule an appointment to receive their second dose at a follow-up Speedway event on March 2.
Appointments should last about an hour, and people are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time. After being vaccinated, recipients will be monitored by medical staff to ensure that they do not experience a negative reaction.
