QB Packers Aaron Rodgers Confirms Video of Pickup Beer Box

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Video of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers riding in the back of a truck with a box of beer has been spreading across social media. No. 12 confirmed Friday that the video is legitimate.

“Yes, it was me,” Rodgers tweeted. He said the truck belongs to Lieutenant David Bakhtiari … as well as “soaked beer cases”.

The video was posted on TikTok and Twitter. It shows Rodgers in the body of a red GMC truck, entering Oneida St near Lambeau Field. The person driving behind them is recording a video, and Rodgers is holding a box of Bud Light.

Pat McAfee showed the video on Friday’s show and Rodgers tweeted confirmation that it was him.

Former Packer AJ Hawk says this is not uncommon in Green Bay. “He’s returning to Lambeau from training. This is the little ride you have to take on your cushions, so you just jump in the back of someone’s truck, ”Hawk told McAfee.
