Launch of the LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and Targa set

LEGO has once again captured the hearts of car enthusiasts everywhere with the launch of its new automotive set. The company is officially launching a Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa two in one, bringing together two of the most iconic models of the 1970s and 1980s.

LEGO builders and car fanatics will certainly feel a sense of nostalgia with the construction of the 911 Turbo and the 911 Targa. The models are meticulously detailed, channeling the essence of the ubiquitous German sports car. Both Porsches feature all the characteristics of their original composition, including the streamlined line from the shoulders to the sculpted hood with the easily identified Porsche emblem, the rear-mounted six-cylinder Boxer engine and angled headlights.

The two-in-one model allows builders to choose between the classic or convertible coupe style by adding the fixed roof to the 911 Turbo model or the open roof 911 Targa at the same time. Both versions still retain their elegant silhouettes and timeless interiors. The 2 + 2 sports seats and dashboard are constructed in dark orange and nougat color scheme, reflecting almost entirely the remarkable contemporary upholstery options of the legendary Porsche 911.

The interior is also something to marvel at, with a hand brake, gearshift and functional steering. Continuing to add realistic attributes, the front seats lean forward so that the rear seat can be accessed.

To ensure that the 911 Turbo and Targa are easily identifiable, the set comes with different variants of the model. The 911 Turbo features a distinctive Turbo, turbocharger, intercooler and wide rear axle, complemented by an integrated rear spoiler. As for the 911 Targa, the Targa Bar highlights the model, along with its emblem and wraparound rear window built in brick.

LEGO VIP members can purchase the set from February 16, while others will have to wait until March 1. The LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and the 911 Targa cost $ 149.99 USD and are available from LEGO.
