Wendy offers information about the “less than smart woman” that her ex supposedly had an affair with and son with – in addition to the kind of reactions she hopes her biopic and documentary film will have, and who came up with the name “What a mess!”
Wendy Williams promises that there is a lot more tea that her fans don’t know in her next biopic and documentary film Lifetime, both airing on Saturday, and that was after she poured even more tea with Andy Cohen On thursday.
The daytime diva appeared at the “Watch What Happens Life” club, where she tried her usual affable open book, telling details about everything from the past of her ex, Kevin Hunter, alleged girlfriend and baby mama.

She also spoke a little more about how he managed / controlled his career over the years, even costing his possible lucrative opportunities, and whether or not he was invited to be or tried to be part of the Lifetime project duo about his life.
It wasn’t all about Kevin, although he was a dominant topic of discussion, with Wendy also sharing his most intimidating interview, as they arrived with “What a mess!” name for the documentary and why she owes an apology to “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozado.
Hilarious, according to Wendy, the name basically happened by accident. She said Lifetime came to her with her best ideas and she just wasn’t feeling any of them.
“None of them really played for me, and I said, ‘What a mess!'” She shared. “I was just commenting, oh my God, that brilliant creative minds and we couldn’t figure out a title, what a mess!”
“And then someone said, ‘Well, that’s it,'” she continued. “I said what? ‘ They said, ‘Wendy Williams: what a mess!’ “I said, ‘Here we go. What a mess.'”
Life can be a mess, and Wendy was almost always an openly open book about it, even though she kept Kevin’s marital infidelity a secret until she found out that her alleged lover was pregnant.
When Andy asked if she thought the film’s projects would make anyone angry, Wendy joked, “Yes, stay in line behind my ex-husband.”
“I hope people are angry. I hope they are still sad for me. I hope people feel that I’m lying,” she admitted. “But I also hope that people love me more and I want them to learn life lessons from it. I’ve been through a lot of things, so maybe you don’t have to go through them, or maybe you go through the same thing.”

Although she expects Kevin to be angry, she also said pointedly, “I don’t care what he thinks about it.” To her credit, she gaped at Andy when she said she actually invited him to be part of the documentary.
“I invited him to participate in the documentary, where he could have said what he wanted,” she said, with Andy confirming that no one was trying to guide what he said in the film.
She even argued that he had the opportunity to tell the story after he refused to return any call from Lifetime.
“I finally called him and said, ‘Kev, Lifetime is calling you for my advice. I want you to say what you want and tell your version of the truth about the documentary,'” she said, adding that “he rejected the two things. He didn’t want to be part of the documentary, he didn’t want to be part of the film. “
Interestingly, as much as she argued that he was able to tell his story, Wendy also revealed on some points that she really doesn’t know what the story is like now. While joking that she pays child support for his life, she said, “You know, I don’t know if he’s employed or not.”

In another part of the interview, she said she “has no idea” whether Kevin is still with masseuse Sharina Hudson, again quoting Sharina’s alleged daughter with Kevin.
“I don’t know how they are raising their daughter, Journey, who is almost two – I think she is two next month or something,” she told Andy. “That’s not my problem. My alimony for the three is one-off every month.”
That didn’t stop her from opening up a little bit about what she knew about Kevin’s supposed longtime lover. Wendy said she had known about the case for 13 to 15 years.
“She was one of those unintelligent women who moved to the big city with bright lights and wanted to be a model,” said Wendy. “You know how the girls with bottles of sparkling champagne at the club make people spend more money, dress in little clothes and things like that.”
She explained that in her radio heyday, she used to be in these clubs promoting events, and that was when this aspiring model in particular met her ex-husband. “Kevin’s problem is that Kevin ended up with this girl. She made herself available to him,” said Wendy, adding quickly: “She was very disrespectful to me. You know he had the courage to tell me that she admires me. “
As to why she held on for so long, Wendy said it was as simple as being in love with Kevin, who was living that fantasy about white stakes that her parents had instilled in her since childhood. “There was really no option in my mind and [there] it is not yet, “she said.” Being married is the Holy Grail. “
And despite the headache and the struggle to lose a 25-year relationship, Wendy has definitely not given up on love. “I want love,” she said. “Where is he, like now? If I were to walk outside now, I would say, walk with me up the street – virtual [sic] distancing – and we go to the cafe. “
She doesn’t describe herself as “desperate”, but as a woman who knows she can get a man’s touch if she wants to (“that’s the easy part, and you don’t realize it until you’ve lived a little”), but she is looking for someone to laugh and be real.

As part of finally confessing and acknowledging Kevin’s years of infidelity, Wendy admitted that there was someone to whom he owed an apology. It was in response to Andy asking if she remembered the first time that a celebrity got mad at her for something she said.
Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozado was the first name that came to mind, with Wendy lamenting that she didn’t have Evelyn’s personal number and was unable to connect with her professionally.
“I want to apologize to Evelyn,” said Wendy, “because she had that shoe store in Miami and told me in no uncertain terms through another housewife – because Evenly was no longer invited to the show because Evelyn was spreading that rumor that Kevin was there with a girl other than me, of course, and was buying a pair of women’s shoes not eleven and a half, do you understand? “
“So, I want to apologize to Evelyn, because she saw something I didn’t see,” Wendy admitted. “You know, I knew he was cheating at the time, but I didn’t realize that he was having the courage to actually go out and introduce her to the boys and take her on vacation.”
She also revealed the interview that most intimidated her, and she said it was more preparation for the conversation – honestly, it makes perfect sense. “Judge Judy,” she said.
But when she came in, Wendy said that she whispered something in her ear and that was enough to put her at ease. It turns out that Judy and her husband are big fans of Wendy and her show, with Judy proving it by asking about segments, Wendy’s shoe camera and the like.
More tea will certainly be spilled – with more precipitation to come – when “Wendy Williams: The Movie” and “Wendy Williams: What a Mess!” air back-to-back on Lifetime this Saturday, starting at 8 pm Eastern Time.
