STARKVILLE, miss. – After an 11-day layoff, the state of Mississippi returned to action on Thursday night. Unfortunately for No. 21 Bulldogs, they didn’t get a chance to get back to things while fighting South Carolina’s No. 4 and Gamecocks emerged victorious.
MSU lost 75-52 to South Carolina. With the loss, the Bulldogs saw their record drop to 8-5 overall and 3-4 in the Southeast Conference game. Gamecocks improved to 13-1 overall and 8-0 in the league’s action.
After the dispute, Mississippi State Chief Coach Nikki McCray-Penson met with the media to review everything. Watch the full McCray-Penson post-game press conference above.
