Quarterback Will Levis enters the transfer portal

Penn State quarterback Will Levis entered the transfer portal. The junior redshirt defender announced his decision via Twitter on Thursday night.

Levis, a member of Penn State’s 2018 recruiting class, has appeared in 14 games with the Nittany Lions over the past two seasons. In those 14 games, he completed 61 of 102 passing attempts for 644 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. He ran for another 473 yards and six touchdowns over 133 race attempts.

With Levis on the portal, Nittany Lions have now lost two defenders in this off-season. Redshirt freshman quarterback Micah Bowens entered the portal earlier this month before moving to Oklahoma. The Lions of Nittany now feature senior redshirt holder Sean Clifford, sophomore Ta’Quan Robinson and freshman Christian Veilleux, as they are the quarterbacks entering the next season.

BSD wishes Will all the best as he leaves Penn State.
