2 14-year-old Texas accused of murdering mother of 3

Two 14-year-olds from Texas were charged with murder in the death of a 31-year-old Fort Worth mother who was killed while delivering a delivery of Uber Eats on Saturday, according to local police.

The teenagers reportedly stole and stabbed Ryan Munsie in Haltom City, Texas, in an open passage in an apartment complex on Northern Cross Boulevard with “obvious signs of trauma,” police said.

Munsie was pronounced dead at the scene. She was on her way to deliver a delivery of food to the compound.

Coworkers told Fox 4 of Dallas-Fort Worth that Munsie started driving for Uber Eats to help make money during the coronavirus pandemic.

SWAT staff members arrested the two teenagers on Wednesday night in Fort Worth, about five miles from the crime scene, and accused them of manslaughter, police said. They were being held at the Tarrant County Youth Justice Center.

Authorities withheld the names and photos of the suspects as they were minors.

Munsie’s friend Bailey Ables told the Forth Worth Star-Telegram that the victim had three children, ages 5, 10 and 11. Ables officiated at the wedding between Munsie and her husband, Cameron Graham.

A GoFundMe campaign that Ables set up for the family raised more than $ 50,000 from 1,500 donors from an initial goal of $ 30,000 on Thursday afternoon.

“Every person who has donated so far has not gone unnoticed,” wrote Ables on the page. “The kindness and generosity you have shown is very much appreciated. Thank you all.”

Haltom city police urged residents, “especially delivery drivers”, to be vigilant in unfamiliar areas, even during daily activities. They are also calling on the public to report suspicious people or activities to the authorities.
