Thursday will show light snow before a drop in temperatures on Friday.
Meteorologists are calling for ocean-effect snow showers in coastal locations on Thursday morning, especially South Shore, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. Otherwise, the sky will be cloudy and the highs will reach 30 years in many places.
Temperatures will plummet overnight and Friday will be freezing – with chills possibly dropping below zero.
