The third and final season of Aidy Bryant’s comedy will be released this spring.
Strident ‘s the next season will be the last.
The news arrives as Aidy Bryant’s comedy prepares for its third and now final season for release on Hulu this spring. The praised half hour, produced by Warner Bros. Television, is inspired by Lindy West’s book Strident: notes from a noisy woman. Bryant stars in addition to writing and producing.
“Strident it has been one of the most creatively satisfying experiences of my life, a real labor of love for me and everyone who has worked so hard on it, “said Bryant in a statement on Wednesday. they are very grateful to the audience who connected with this story. Since Stridentof the launch in early 2019, Bryant had been on a double journey. She filmed the first two seasons of the Portland-based comedy while Saturday Night Live was on a hiatus, allowing him to return to 30 Rock for the SNL season. The pandemic made such a configuration impossible for the third show. Instead, Bryant filmed the Hulu series this fall, which meant staying out SNL how the show made its series of episodes with an electoral theme. With Strident now in the can, Bryant will return it to the SNL for your next batch of episodes.

The final season of the show, which will also be directed by Rushfield and produced by SNLMichaels and Banks of, finds Annie (Bryant) energized by her separation from her tasteless boyfriend Ryan and her new impulse at work. Annie feels that everything is finally coming together for her, but does she really know how to get what she wants?
