Joey Fatone would like to clarify the rumors about an alleged romantic relationship with Pink.
During the last episode of “Defend Yourself”, the NSYNC member denied asking permission from the “So What” singer’s father to date her, but said the two pop stars tried a love match.

“In fact, I invited her a few times and we left,” he said. “We were cool as hell. But I guess I wasn’t her type, so that was it. We were still friends. That was it!”
“I’m fine with being in the friendship zone with Pink,” joked Joey. “There’s nothing wrong with that. I’m fine with rejection. I mean, hell, I was on * NSYNC a lot, so I can accept rejection.”
As for any confusion about his dating story, he said, “This is definitely cool and I have no problem with that.”
But he reiterated what he did not fall when he was reportedly preparing to court the Grammy nominee.
“I didn’t say or ask her dad that I wanted to go out with her and loved her,” he said laughing. “If that’s what you’re referring to here. I’ll clear things up directly with her and I can come in and talk to her face to face.”
In 2017, Pink told James Corden on “The Late Late Show” that she remembers Joey going backstage when she started in the business.
“Joey Fatone used to come to my dressing room every day and visit us, and he was such a sweet heart,” she recalled. “My dad really thought Joey was very charming. [Joey] took me to Friendly’s. As a friendly meeting, not as a date. I just wanted ice cream. We were in the friendship zone. “
Pink has been in a relationship with Carey Hart since 2006. The couple has two children: daughter Willow, nine, and son Jameson, four.
Meanwhile, Joey married high school classmate Kelly Baldwin in 2004. They share daughters Briahna, 19, and Kloey, 11.
