Talinda Bennington asked for divorce 1 year after remarrying … TMZ learned.
Chester BenningtonThe widow filed for divorce on Wednesday at the LA County Court … according to court records. As you already know, she married the LA County fireman Michael Fredman on New Year’s Eve 2019 at the Turtle Bay Resort in Kahuku, Hawaii.
Talinda has already taken Instagram to announce the news too … saying, in part, “Divorce is never easy, but in our case it is the best. We remain good friends and he remains an important part of my children’s lives.”
Talinda and Michael had no children during their brief marriage. She and Chester had 3 children – son Tyler and twins Lily and Lila. Children were also part of the Talinda school marriage to Fredman.
Interestingly … Talinda and Chester also got married on New Year’s Eve in 2005.
As we reported earlier … Talinda and Michael got engaged in April 2019 … just over 2 years after the Linkin Park singer committed suicide.
After the news of their engagement broke … Talinda said, “I can find love after the tragedy” and added, “For all suicide survivors, you CAN be happy again. You CAN have room in your heart for sadness. , joy, happiness, sadness and love. “
