South Carolina sophomore basketball student Aliyah Boston is one of 15 entries on Naismith’s defensive player of the year list, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced today. The 1.80 meter striker was a finalist for the award in 2020.
Boston is eighth in the country, with the SEC’s best result with 3.15 blocks per game this season, with an impressive 4.9 blocks per SEC game and 4.3 against ranked opponents.
