Sorry guys, another game has been postponed. This time it’s Lord of the Rings: Gollum – an adventure and action game based on stories from JRR Tolkien’s epic fantasy novels.
The game was revealed for Switch and several other platforms in August last year and, instead of arriving in 2021, it has been postponed to 2022. NACON has now joined Daedalic Entertainment as a co-publisher and will assume responsibility for distributing the game.
The two companies are also joining forces to ensure that this next release meets the expectations of Lord of the Rings fans and, moreover, to fully leverage the power of new generation consoles.
Both parties promise to “faithfully represent” this classic universe, thanks to the partnership with Middle-earth Enterprises. In the game, you will take control of Gollum. Here’s what you can expect:
“Take a dangerous journey like Gollum, chasing the one thing that is precious to him. Climb, jump and sneak through dangers or advantageous locations. Gollum is skillful and cunning, but also torn apart by his divided personality. the darker side of Gollum takes over or whether there is a spark of reason left in what was once Sméagol. “
