“The Walking Dead” actor Ilan Srulovicz appeared on “The Faulkner Focus” on Monday to discuss the cancellation of the culture and what he sees as a growing tendency to censor conservative voices in America.
In addition to acting, Srulovicz is also the CEO and founder of Egard Watch Co., which recently released a video entitled “WHAT IS FREEDOM – A MESSAGE TO ALL OF US” in an attempt to highlight what he believes to be an alarming mainstream media problem and Hollywood censoring opposite voices.
“I felt it was very important for a company to take this position,” he explained. “It wasn’t like an individual. So I put my company, Egard, behind it. We have a lot of followers and, essentially, I just wanted to start fighting the extreme type of censorship that we see today. I wanted to show that companies can also to position yourself. I think it’s very important. ”
He went on to discuss the top five companies in America that have a lot of control over the flow of information.

He continued: “The basis of any country that achieves a society that will progress will be built on the notion of freedom, freedom of expression, freedom of thought. We’ve been experiencing a decline in this for a long time. I mean, it’s not a new concept. As I said, it is Orwellian. I mean, people have written about it for many decades and warned against it. The notion that people are now saying that we have to reprogram people to think the way we want them to think is scary. I don’t care which side of the aisle you’re on. It must be something that we can go out and say, ‘Hey, this is wrong.’ We must be able to have dialogue. We should be able to have a debate when that is out of the equation. “

“If you are in Hollywood and leave with an opinion different from what Hollywood considers acceptable, you are vilified, you are a target, your career is over,” he explained. “Hollywood really sets trends. It sets culture. And this is really a cultural battle. We have to make it acceptable once again to disagree with each other and have a diversity of opinions.”
