Already plagued by several bugs, Omen was hit by another unintended exploit after the Valorant patch 2.01. The new bug allows players to cancel and reuse the Agent’s final ability, giving them infinite teleports without waiting.
A major part of Valorant’s appeal is the variety of agents that players control when fighting their opponents. The game characters provide a variety of archetypes and game styles to choose from, and these choices provide one of the main attractions for both new and veteran players.
One of the characters available at launch, Omen, was a popular choice from the start because of his unique abilities. With a kit that allows the Agent to distract, confuse and flank enemies, it remains one of the first options for the role of Controller in both casual and ranked games.
Despite his popularity, the ‘ghost of a memory’ remains controversial due to several bugs related to his abilities. After patch 2.01, it appears that a new Omen exploit has been introduced, which allows players to use their final skill without any waiting time.

A new Omen exploit allows players to reuse their final skill without waiting.
In a clip shared with Reddit by ‘u / LogicaLogix,’ the player can be seen using his final skill over and over again without waiting between uses. The short video shows Omen activating his teleportation, appearing at the intended location, but canceling the animation of the ability at the last second.
After the animation has been canceled, the Omen ultimate is immediately ready for use again and the appropriate voice line is played each time, saying “My ultimate is ready”. The player teleports around the map 3 times in this way, with his ultimate fully loaded and ready for use after each activation.
A user asked au / LogicaLogix how he was able to do this, and the poster explained that “you have to pull your knife and left click on the map at the same time, so use a skill right before you start.” It will not be an easy move to make, and the player admits “The moment is very difficult to make”.
Omen can cancel his final animation after teleporting from VALORANT
The post’s comments were filled with frustration and disbelief from the community. “Every week, every week is the same with Omen,” replied one user. Another asked “[have] did we have a single patch without an Omen bug? “
Although bugs are not uncommon in any title, Omen has suffered an extremely high number of problems since the initial launch of Valorant. At one point, Riot even removed the character from the game while they worked to solve another Agent-related teleportation issue.
Riot has not responded to u / LogicaLogix’s post so far. Although they have still resolved the latest Omen bug, their team is probably looking for any issues related to the Agent and will likely send a fix as a top priority as soon as they hear about the new exploit.
