South Carolina Gamecocks will be represented in the Super Bowl for the ninth consecutive year. With Tampa Bay’s victory over Green Bay on Sunday, kicker Ryan Succop is on his way to play at the Super Bowl LV.
Succop had 4-to-4 in attempts for extra points and made a 46-yard field goal in the fourth quarter at Lambeau Field. New Buccaneers Defensive Equipment Kobe Smith also represents Gamecocks, but is on the team’s training squad.

Defensive Kansas City Defenders Rashad Fenton and Chris Lammons could join Succop in the big game if the Chiefs beat Buffalo Bills in the Sunday night AFC Championship game.
As long as Succop (or Fenton / Lammons) takes to the pitch for the last four quarters of the season, he will extend the string of former South Carolina football program players to nine years to play in the Super Bowl.
