Larry King dies | WWE

WWE is saddened to learn that Larry King passed away at the age of 87.

The talk show titan reimagined possibilities in the television world with his iconic “The Larry King Show”. Prominent figures from the world of entertainment, sports and politics graced his show every night, but King made a special impact on national wrestling coverage.

“They are incredible athletes, their fans are incredible, but the results never come out on paper … For me, if someone is interesting, I am curious. And fighters – and wrestling – are interesting, ”King once told Sports Illustrated.

When “The Larry King Show” debuted on Ora.TV in 2012, King hosted a special episode of WWE Superstars that included John Cena, The Miz & Maryse, Big Show and more. After being named Social Media Ambassador for Raw, King would bring his legendary show to the red brand in 2012. It was a busy night for the two-time Peabody Prize winner, as the A-Lister in a memorable way could not help but break his set King also gave Daniel Bryan some life advice.

WWE extends its condolences to King’s family and friends.
